This is the site for information on USTA Junior Team Tennis in New York City which is conducted by the USTA Eastern Metro Management Committee.
Junior Team Tennis is a great way for kids ages 8 to 18 to experience the fun and excitement of competing in tennis matches and playing for a team.
The New York City 2010-11 winter season for USTA Junior Team Tennis will run from November through March, with all matches on Saturdays and Sunday afternoons and early evenings.
There will be Intermediate and Advanced divisions in 12-and-under, 14-and-under and 18-and-under divisions.Each team requires a minimum of 3 boys and 3 girls. Each team may have a maximum of 10 players. The format will be one 9-game total pro-set each of girls singles, boys singles, girls doubles, boys doubles and mixed doubles.
Matches will play at the new Mill Pond Tennis Center, Sportime @ Randall’s Island, the National Tennis Center and the West Side Tennis Club in Forest Hills.
